These days, sports media is completely in the spotlight, with audio and video. It has received honor and appreciation from many quarters because of its importance in society, especially since sports refine morals and character, refine souls, and help build skill capabilities, not only physical, but also psychological and intellectual. This is why it has become an essential partner. In construction, what the arena is currently witnessing is an exceptional situation due to sports and media seminars, and this time the sports media stood side by side with culture and literature and put “head to head” the intellectuals about its importance and its role in spreading awareness and culture. The conscious writer who holds the pen must be honest in his presentation. On all occasions, it keeps members of society away from confusion and excitement and from hidden hands, which have increased in the arena these days, not only local, but primarily Arab and Gulf in particular!
Personally, I liked the initiative of the Sharjah Book Fair in its 42nd session, by organizing a session on sports literature. This is a required slogan because it is the most popular among young people. The recipient of the literary message has the right to express himself in his own way, as he works without noise or media fanfare.
I saw the work at the International Book Fair proceeding according to a clear system and each specialist playing his role according to what was assigned to him, and this is the secret of the success of the literary, cultural and cognitive system. I say that the slogan “We talk about books” is beautiful, concise and useful and reaches easily, and the other thing that pleased me was that the attendance was positive. The visitor can easily reach where he wants… What is striking is that the new generation of young people loves reading, and this is a great opportunity for the bodies and institutions that care about young people and their inclinations.
