Under the auspices of His Highness the Prime Minister and in the presence of a group of Arab media professionals, the activities of the Arab Media Forum will kick off in Kuwait May 28-29, 2023

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait, the activities of the Arab Media Forum will be launched during the period between May 28-29, 2023, in its eighteenth session, under the title (The Future of Media .. Media of the Future).
The Secretary-General of the Arab Media Forum, Madi Abdullah Al-Khamis, stated that the activities of the forum this year are different for several reasons, the most important of which is the passage of twenty years since the establishment of the Arab Media Forum in the State of Kuwait in 2003, which during that period witnessed the achievement of many important achievements on all means and levels. The forum was able to hold many activities and events inside and outside Kuwait in a distinctive, intense and large manner.
As for the other matter, it is the reconvening of the events and activities of the Arab Media Forum after stopping for three years since 2019 due to the dreaded Corona epidemic, which made all activities and events in the world stop and be affected, but praise be to God who made us able to overcome this ordeal.
Al-Khamees noted that the Arab Media Forum, in its eighteenth session, comes under the slogan (The Future of Media.. the Media of the Future), which discusses through 14 rich dialogue sessions many important issues related to the media industry and its various issues, in which a number of Arab information ministers and many Important media personalities, academics, writers, journalists, artists, poets… and many who are interested in media affairs.
He explained that the media today is in a state of rapid change, and a total of comprehensive changes, which make media institutions and professionals in a constant rush to catch up with all those changes and variables that if they lag behind, they will precede them. It is not like yesterday.. and the media industry today is not what it was in the past. Rather, it witnessed tributaries, variables, and methods, with which the form of the media is no longer what it was.
The Secretary-General of the Arab Media Forum indicated that, in cooperation with the media and communication sector in the League of Arab States, the Arab Media Forum Authority seeks to establish many different activities and events that have witnessed over the past years many successes and important distinction for them, so they have all thanks, appreciation and praise for this fruitful cooperation.
Al-Khamis said that we eagerly welcome our male and female media colleagues to their second country, Kuwait, to participate in the activities of the Arab Media Forum, wishing them a pleasant stay and benefiting from all the events and activities included in the forum.
In conclusion, the Secretary-General of the Arab Media Forum, Madi Abdullah Al-Khamis, extended his thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah for his generous sponsorship of the events and activities of the Forum, as well as thanks to the Kuwaiti Ministry of Information for their fruitful cooperation in achieving success and the strategic partnership that spanned over twenty years.
And thanks and appreciation to the Kuwaiti and Arab media who have supported and aided the Arab Media Forum since its inception, and they were the real reason behind every success achieved.
