We responded to the invitation of the Education, Youth, Media and Culture Committee of the Federal National Council to a panel discussion organized by the Committee, which aims to activate the role of media professionals. Fortunately, most of them were from the sports media, including Dr. Adnan Hamad, Chairman of the Committee, the prominent media figure (Bu Hamad), who has achieved remarkable successes of which we are proud. With what it achieved, it was a fruitful session that achieved goals and raised recommendations in a meeting that lasted more than two hours, which recommended the need for the press to adhere to principles and strengthen national identity.
In preserving the identity of society and defending the gains and achievements achieved, noting the importance of credibility, professionalism and patriotism in dealing with the media material, ensuring that it is delivered to the recipient without distortion, exaggeration or exaggeration, and continuing with constructive criticism of the negatives, which would improve the image in accordance with national trends. Which were determined by the state, to preserve and emphasize the achievements, within the policy and strategy of the country, which confirms the importance of pushing towards activating the roles of media colleagues to enable them to play their role in accordance with national constants, professionalism and credibility.
Frankly, I felt happy and psychologically comfortable with the presence of veteran colleagues, and what is most important is the voice of the sports media in the Federal National Council, which confirms periodic field communication with media institutions to learn about the obstacles they face, and we are all hopeful and optimistic about the presence of a sports media and political figure like His Excellency Saqr Ghobash, President of the Federal National Council. He is a sports figure as a football player in the Al Wahda team in Ras Al Khaimah and an important member of the Football Association and other sporting events. His Excellency played an important role in the process of the most popular game, as he adopted the ideas and recommendations of yesterday’s meeting into a sports media movement aimed at the public interest… All thanks to those in charge of Such national initiatives create opportunities, ideas and opinions that serve our media reality in light of the development and changes associated with this field, given that the media is a dangerous weapon. We came away with a good impression for a better future for the national media identity… and God is behind the intention.
