The Emirates Sports Media Association participates in the meetings of the International Federation

The delegations of the countries participating in the meetings of the 85th General Assembly of the International Federation of Sports Press AIPS started, where 30 countries participated, representing 40 individuals who arrived in the Korean capital, “Seoul”, which started yesterday and will continue until the twelfth of this month.
We are represented by Abdullah Ibrahim, the president of the association, and Mohammed Al-Jawker, the secretary-general of these meetings, a member of the executive office of the Asian Sports Press Federation. The president of the association attended the meeting of the Asian executive office in his capacity as chairman of the Conferences and Membership Committee. A proposal was approved that the committee’s membership consist of five individuals representing Saudi Arabia, Japan, Afghanistan and Bahrain.

The program of the first day, in addition to the official opening, included two meetings of the Executive Office of the International Federation of Sports Press and the Arbitration Committee (Al-Juri) for the Sports Media Awards. The financial and administrative reports were approved.
The association is keen to be present in international events and meetings in order to achieve the strategies it has developed.
