The Public Investment Fund continues to develop women’s golf through a series of new global championships.

Five global tournaments named the “Public Investment Fund International Series” as part of the fund’s commitment to supporting women’s sports

The five tournaments will feature a total prize pool of $13 million, making them among the highest after the majors, enhancing competitive opportunities for female professional golfers.
Riyadh, Seoul, May 8, 2025: The Public Investment Fund (PIF) and Golf Saudi today announced the appointment of PIF as the title partner for a new global series of tournaments bearing its name, featuring five Ladies European Tour (LET) tournaments. This step aligns with PIF’s commitment to contributing to the development of women’s golf.
The new series, named the “Public Investment Fund International Series,” will include five tournaments held around the world during 2025, adopting a new format that includes individual and team competitions.
The “Public Investment Fund Saudi Ladies International” has also been added to the 2025 series, further strengthening the series’ position on the European Tour (LET) calendar and the major women’s golf events.
The Public Investment Fund Saudi Women’s International offers prize money of up to $5 million, while the prize money for the other four tournaments amounts to $2 million each, making them among the highest in women’s golf. The five tournaments in the PIF World Series include:
• PIF Saudi Ladies International: Riyadh Golf Club, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (February 12–15, 2025)
• Aramco Korea Championship: New Korea Country Club, Seoul, South Korea (May 9–11, 2025)
• PIF London Championship: Centurion Golf Club, London, United Kingdom (August 8–10, 2025)
• Aramco Houston Championship: Houston, USA (September 5–7, 2025)
• Aramco Shenzhen Championship: Mission Hills, Shenzhen, China (November 6–8, 2025)
The new partnership strengthens PIF’s position as a leading supporter of women’s sports, through its contributions to addressing the challenges facing the global growth of sports.
