“The Gulf Cup Made Me Old” at a 100-book signing ceremony in Dubai

Tomorrow, Tuesday, the Sultan bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation will host a book signing event for 100 Emirati authors on the occasion of Emirati Writers’ Day. One hundred Emirati authors will sign their recently published books, with the Al Owais Cultural Foundation paying special attention to local writers. This event marks the centenary of the birth of poet Sultan bin Ali Al Owais (1925-2025).
The event will begin at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, May 27, in the exhibition hall of the Foundation’s building on Al Rigga Street in Dubai. The Foundation has invited 100 Emirati writers from different generations to sign their publications.
The prominent writer and Gulf journalism icon, Mohammed Al Joker, expressed his happiness to participate in this major cultural event with his latest publication, “The Gulf Cup Made Me Old: History and Memories.”
