I see it as related to documentation, which unfortunately we lack a lot, despite some attempts. I hope that such memories will be built up through national institutions such as the archives, the national library, the General Authority for Sports, the Olympic Committee and the federations. Clubs are the main stations in the journey and life of our sports society, which believes in the importance of communication between generations. The progress and development that the country has achieved was preceded by decades of construction, work and effort, which the people of the Emirates undertook amid extremely difficult circumstances, in which they achieved successes that appeared before the beginning of its establishment. Over the course of the blessed Eid al-Adha holiday, we remembered the days of good times in sports, from the process of giving to one of the largest clubs in the Arab world, which is Al-Ahly of Egypt, when he visited us in the Emirates and the club’s president at the time was Lieutenant General Mohamed Murtaji, the team’s coach was Mohamed Abdo Saleh Al-Wahsh, and football director “Maestro” Saleh. It is nice to hear from time to time about initiatives from some of our sports institutions and even individual athletes, to document their sports history as individuals and institutions… and it is undoubtedly necessary for our societies, and in fact The task is not easy, as it is documenting a history that has passed for more than half a century. Yes, we look at the past in its purity and that they were an honest model of sacrifice in giving at an important stage of the development in which we live… and God is behind the intention.
