The 2026 World Cup logo ignites the wrath of Mexico

The logo of the World Cup 2026 World Cup sparked an angry storm, which raised the dust of criticism from a wide section of the Mexican fans, who refused to link the cactus to the wide Mexican hat “Sombrero”. The cactus has always been an original Mexican logo, but the hat does not express Mexican culture at all, with mixing Ethnicities are Africans, Caucasians, and others.
The vast majority consider this slogan an intruder, and it was designed by an unknown person to send a message against Mexico itself, when it spread like wildfire last week.

But the focus was on the World Cup logo with Mexican mascots, similar to the Qatari logo stemming from the Qatari culture, as well as the football logo “The Journey”, in addition to the stadiums bearing the Qatari character and heritage.
