The Horse Racing Club at King Abdulaziz Equestrian Field in Riyadh organized the second week of the Riyadh Racing Season in its three events 43, 44 and 45 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday corresponding to October 24, 25 and 26, 2024, with prizes valued at nearly three million riyals. Each day consisted of twelve rounds with different grades, classifications and ages for Thoroughbred and purebred Arabian horses. This week witnessed five exciting cups in which the horses competed with all their strength. The horse Mr. Trinket, owned by the sons of Fayhan bin Faisal Al-Mandil and trained by Thanyan Al-Thunayan and led by jockey Alexis Moreno, won the General Intelligence Cup over a distance of 1600 meters. In the African Cup over a distance of 1800 meters, the mare Bint Farah recorded a distinguished victory with all ease under the slogan of Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Abdulaziz and trained by Abdullah Mashraf and led by jockey Adel Al-Fraidi. In the Asian Cup over a distance of 1400 meters, she recorded the victory with all merit. The horse Aadat, with the white logo of the sons of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, trained by Ahmed Mahmoud and ridden by jockey Abdullah Al-Fayrouz, while the horse Yarou’a won the Ministry of Defense Cup, third category, locally, with a remarkable and wonderful performance, with the logo of the sons of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, trained by Abdulaziz Al-Mashouh and ridden by jockey Ryan Al-Tuwairish, while the horse Jack Red Cloud managed to win the Eastern Province Emirate Cup over a distance of 2400, with the logo of the owner Fahid Mutab Fahad Al-Subaie and ridden by jockey Adel Al-Fraidi.
