Renault is preparing an extensive rollout programme for the Twingo E-Tech electric ahead of its market launch in 2026, following the model’s official reveal in November 2025. The new electric city car will be introduced through a series of international events, exhibitions and media activities designed to highlight its role in redefining compact urban mobility.

The Twingo E-Tech electric will make its first public appearance from 9 to 18 January at the Brussels Motor Show, where it will be showcased on the Renault stand alongside models such as the Clio, Renault 4 E-Tech electric, Renault 5 E-Tech electric and Renault 5 Turbo 3E. Visitors will be able to explore the car’s modular interior layout and practical features, including independent sliding rear seats and a boot capacity of up to 360 litres.

To coincide with the Brussels debut, Renault will unveil “Twingomania”, a collaborative programme developed with European start-ups focusing on sustainable and innovative mobility solutions. The initiative includes six electric mobility objects inspired by the design and spirit of the Twingo E-Tech electric, featuring elements such as the Absolute Green colour and the model’s distinctive headlamp shape. The range includes an ultra-compact electric skateboard, an electric bodyboard, a multi-purpose electric marine motor, an electric urban bicycle, an electric scooter and an electric motorcycle, reflecting Renault’s broader vision for future urban transport.

In spring 2026, the focus will shift to Paris with the opening of Expo Twingo at le défilé renault – the Carwalk on the Champs-Élysées. The exhibition, which replaces the Cliorama display, will combine the heritage of the Twingo nameplate with the upcoming electric model and will run until September. This will be followed by the Twingo Festival from 18 to 21 June, featuring live performances and cultural events aimed at reflecting the model’s cheerful and playful character.

The Twingo E-Tech electric will also undergo international media road tests in the spring, allowing journalists to assess its performance on the AmpR Small platform. The model is powered by a 60 kW (82 hp) electric motor paired with a 27.5 kWh LFP battery, delivering a WLTP range of up to 263 km. Media evaluations will focus on driving dynamics, efficiency, connected onboard technology and interior functionality.

Further visibility is planned through Renault’s continued partnership with the Roland-Garros French Open, where the Twingo E-Tech electric will be part of the brand’s vehicle line-up from 18 May to 7 June. Alongside the vehicle’s public appearances, Renault will also introduce a dedicated merchandise collection inspired by the contemporary and playful identity of the Twingo E-Tech electric, as the brand builds momentum ahead of the model’s 2026 launch.
