Football remains the main concern in most countries, as it is the game in which you can achieve something on the continental or international level. It is the face of the sport in any country, and my hope is for the national team in its new uniform, as the elements that will participate in the new mission in preparation for the confrontation have been chosen. Tomorrow, Nepal’s national team is in the penultimate round of the joint Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup and 2027 Asian Cup finals for Group H, which “White” leads with a full score.
Then our team will play against Bahrain on the 11th of the month in the last round, and will play the two matches amid significant absences and new players who did not play as starters, in a difficult task, as our team is playing after the end of the football season and in the absence of some elements.
Hence, the responsibility is great for all of us. The players must know that the path is not easy because all the teams are strong and we must respect them, despite our lead. Our players are well aware of this matter and we all stand with the national team shoulder to shoulder, as it is hope and a measure of the outcome of the league and local competitions. The real assessment here appears now with the state and image of the team… especially since a large number of those selected for the team are new faces. Some of them even do not play regularly in light of the invasion of foreign players in our stadiums, and they have become the majority in the ranks of our teams in local competitions, which obscures the vision of the participation of our citizen players and that issue. We have written repeatedly that we must stop and evaluate what is happening, as the situation is difficult if we want the team to develop!!
My wishes for success for Al-Abyad in its new uniform, which is launching again and receiving great care and attention. The departure has led to a major task that requires us to see preparation and readiness. Our players promised that we would return with an honorable result, as we do not accept loss.
The concept of football has changed. Today’s players are all professionals, and this facilitates the task of any coach to deal with players with a certain culture and a high ability to be careful and focused.
The current group of the national team is facing a difficult matter and is in the stage of proving itself and confirming its ability to achieve the dream of returning again to the World Cup finals!… And God is behind the intention.
