Enppi men’s and women’s table tennis teams are preparing to participate in the Arab Clubs Championship, which Egypt will host from September 2nd to September 7th at the Hassan Mostafa Halls Complex in 6th of October.
Enppi men’s team roster includes Antoine Hashard, Ali Ghallab, Ahmed Nadeem, Islam Sonbol, Mohamed Shoman and Moamen El-Ouz.
As for the women’s roster, it includes Maria Dolgikh, Nadine El-Dawlatly, Fatima Alaa, Sally Osama, Reem El-Iraqi and Hana Ibrahim.
Enppi’s technical staff consists of Ayman Zakaria as head of the team, Khaled Mohamed as general coach for men, Sayed Zeinhom as men’s coach, while Osama Mahrous leads the women’s team as general coach, and Karim Alaa as women’s coach, while Hossam Abdel Mohsen, Ahmed Nagi and Nader Othman are present as team administrators.
It is worth noting that the championship will witness the participation of 3 teams from Egypt in the men’s category, namely Enppi, Aswan Rowing and Aswan Games, while 3 teams will participate in the women’s category, namely Enppi, Petrojet and Geziret El Ward.
The previous edition of the Arab Clubs Championship was held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and witnessed an Egyptian sweep of the championship, as Enppi won the men’s competition, while the Zamalek team won the women’s title.
It is worth noting that Egypt hosted the Arab Clubs Championship in 2022 and witnessed the Enppi team winning the men’s competition, while the Al-Ahly team won at the time in the women’s category.
The championship will witness the participation of 3 Egyptian teams in the men’s category and the same number in the women’s category, thanks to Egypt hosting the championship on its land.
It is expected that Egypt will be represented by the men’s teams, Enppi, Aswan Rowing and Damanhour Games, while the women’s teams, Enppi, Petrojet and Geziret El Ward, will participate from Egypt.
