In a bold plan by the Qatari government to maintain security inside the World Cup stadiums, and the accompanying buildings, which will witness a large wave of fans amounting to 1.2 million fans, the organizing committee formed a coalition of multinational security forces specialized in combating riots inside matches, consisting of anti-riot police. French, Turkish and American forces, along with security forces from Italy, South Korea and Pakistan, to carry out what was called “Operation Shield of the World Cup”.
These forces are armed with rifles, pistols, armed vehicles and an attack helicopter, as well as police dogs, anti-drone guns, and tear gas.
In addition to their professionalism in dealing with all biological, radiological, nuclear and chemical threats, in order to maintain security and safety within the atmosphere of the World Cup, which is scheduled to start on the 20th of this month.
