The activities of the workshop for media coordinators and sports content makers will begin today, Thursday, at five in the evening, which is organized by the Bahrain Football Association in partnership with the Al-Ahmar Sports Platform and under the supervision of the International Sports Media Club, during the period from 7 to 9 next September. The workshop activities will be hosted by the Rotana Downtown Manama Hotel.
The organizing committee, headed by Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Basha, Advisor to the Al-Ahmar Sports Platform, approved the participants in the workshop, which numbered 45 participants from various sports institutions in Bahrain and the Arab Gulf countries. The workshop lectures will be led by the expert professor Muhannad Suleiman Al-Nuaimi, the first to start creating content via smartphones in The Arab World, while the media coordination side will be led by Dr. Adel Karim, the media coordinator of the Confederation of African Football and the owner of a long history in media coordination in clubs, teams and sports federations.
The workshop activities will include many applied models for creating sports content via mobile phones, as well as various events and models in media coordination in sports clubs, federations, and institutions.
For his part, the head of the workshop organizing committee, Mr. Ali Al-Basha, expressed his appreciation to all the institutions, clubs, federations, and media professionals who were keen to register and participate in this workshop, which will contain a lot of information related to sports content creation and media coordination, which will benefit all its participants in their future work journey. Al-Basha confirmed that all preparations for the organization were completed after the workshop hall was approved, as well as the completion of all matters related to the secretarial committee and the preparation of all requirements in sufficient time to ensure the success of the event in all aspects, indicating that Gulf participation in the workshop will be a qualitative addition in order to exchange experiences among the participants in the workshop.
