About the Moroccan national team – Written by / Badr Eddine Idrissi
In its own way, the Confederation of African Football chose to respond, even by implication, by allusion or by statement, to the lies issued by the swamps of the media of the eastern neighbor, which are woven in sick imaginations, and then the wretched and miserable believe them, and the latest of which was that Morocco is not ready to host the thirty-fifth edition of the African Cup of Nations scheduled for the end of next year, because the work on our six stadiums in Rabat, Casablanca, Tangier, Fez, Marrakech and Agadir is delayed and will not be ready on the specified date.
The rope of lies became too long, so this media feared the CAF’s fear of a scandal, and according to the same hallucinations, began sending coded messages to Algeria to prepare to save the situation and host the tournament, which will not tolerate a new postponement.
Last Saturday was the 21st of December, and CAF jumped on the occasion with great intelligence, reminding us that exactly one year separates us from the 35th edition of the African Cup of Nations, which Morocco will host. All indications confirm that this edition will be the strongest ever, and will break many records, both in terms of public follow-up and in terms of advertising revenues. It seems clear that this edition, for which Morocco is preparing, and for which it is dedicating five of its six World Cup stadiums, greatly entices many sponsors around the world. Of course, when Morocco is the organizer of this edition, only a year after the FIFA General Assembly assigned it the organization of the 2030 World Cup, and given the grandeur with which Morocco surrounds its organization of all the sporting events assigned to it, and considering that the whole world will be setting its eyes on the country that will host in six years or less the edition celebrating the first centenary of the World Cup, we realize the artistic and aesthetic value of this edition of the CAN that pleases all of Africa, except those with sick hearts, because during it it celebrates its international cup, which is considered one of the biggest levers of the CAF institution, and its competitions that bring the most financial returns. Within the specified and precise timeframes, work is proceeding rapidly in the six stadiums chosen by Morocco to host the African Cup of Nations matches that will start a year from now, and based on all the statements issued by the Sonargis company responsible for preparing and managing the major stadiums and stadiums, all of these stadiums will be ready during the first months of 2025, and their opening was scheduled even before next June, the date that Morocco would have preferred for the 35th edition of the African Cup of Nations to start, had it not been seized by the International Federation of Football, to be the date for the Club World Cup in its new format. If there is a certainty that refutes doubt, and if there is a rational discourse that nullifies the effect of madness and confiscates lies, it is that Morocco is continuing its preparations to present the African continent, and to fans of beautiful football around the world, a legendary version of the African Cup of Nations, a version that we want to be the most beautiful technically and organizationally, and a version that we also aspire to win the title, and no consolation for the makers of illusions.
