The Professional Fighters League (PFL) has revealed the champion belts in the super fights for the highly anticipated event “Battle of the Giants” which will be held in the “Fields” of Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on October 19th. This event is one of the most prominent mixed martial arts championships hosted by Saudi Arabia, and brings together an elite group of world champions in this sport, which adds more excitement to the audience eager to see these strong confrontations.
The main fight in this championship will witness the return of the world heavyweight star and invincible fighter, Francis Ngannou, known as “The Predator”, to the mixed martial arts cage, where he will face the terrifying champion and the tallest fighter in the heavyweight category, the Brazilian Renan Ferreira, the heavyweight title holder in 2023, and they will compete for the PFL World Championship belt.
In the second main event, legendary fighter Cris Cyborg will attempt to defend her title as the greatest fighter in history, as she faces two-time PFL champion Larissa Pacheco of Brazil, in what is considered one of the most important women’s fights in MMA.
There will also be a highly anticipated fight between Bellator middleweight champion Johnny Eplin, who defends his perfect record against English fighter Fabian Edwards. The event will also see the return of former featherweight world champion AJ McKee to face rising fighter Paul Hughes in the lightweight division.
The new championship belt features a unique design that embodies the spirit of strength and global prestige of the super-exciting fighting championships, as it weighs 12.5 pounds and contains gold plates bearing symbols representing the different weight classes in the PFL.
