Journalist Nancy El-Qadi obtained a master’s degree in media from the Institute of Afro-Asian Studies at Suez Canal University, for her thesis entitled “Communication Activities of the Egyptian Family House in Confronting Extremism and Its Role in Promoting the Values of Citizenship”.
El-Qadi expressed her joy at this achievement on her Facebook page, saying: “There are many things I need to write because success is very difficult and requires great effort and fatigue, but today’s joy, as I see the happiness in the eyes of my mother and brother, and feel the spirit of my grandmother, may God have mercy on her, with me, made me forget all the fatigue”.
El-Qadi extended her sincere thanks and appreciation to her professors who supported her academic journey, namely:
Professor Dr. Hassan Ali Mohamed, Professor of Media and former Dean of the Faculty of Media at Suez University, and Dean of the Faculty of Media at Madinah University.
Professor Dr. Mohamed Mohamed Ali Amara, Professor of Media and Deputy Dean of the Institute of Afro-Asian Studies for Graduate Studies at Suez Canal University.
Prof. Dr. Enas Hamed, Professor of Media and Dean of Al Jazeera Higher Institute for Media and Communication Sciences in Maadi.

She added: “The word thank you does not do justice to everyone who appreciated me and attended my discussion today. You made me very happy, and each one of you needs a whole post on his own. I saw the joy in your eyes, and thank you for all the congratulations, calls and messages that I am still unable to respond to. You are the most precious people in my life, my family, my teachers, my friends, my neighbors and my colleagues.”
