The Brazilian capital, Rio de Janeiro, is preparing to host the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Jiu-Jitsu Championship, in its tenth season 2024-2025, organized by the World Vision Sports Management Company, at the Carioca Arena during the period from July 19 to 21, with the participation of more than 2,000 male and female players from various parts of the world. The UAE is represented in the tournament by players Jassim Mubarak in the masters category, and Zayed Al Shamsi, Saeed Al Kubaisi, Omar Al Suwaidi, Mohammed Al Suwaidi, Balqis Abdullah, Maryam Al Ali, Asma Al Hosani, Shamma Al Kalbani, Marwa Al Hosani, Haya Al Jahouri and Bashayer Al Matroushi in the professional category.
