Locally with “Al-Mustawrid” and this is the first double achieved by a horse owner at King Abdulaziz Racecourse in several years. On the same evening, the ninth round was held for the National Guard Ministry Cup (Local Category 3), and was won by the horse “Al Wajeeh” for the sons of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, advancing by six lengths and three quarters of a length, recording the second victory after completing the round distance of 1600 meters, in a time of 1:41.538 minutes, led by Camilo Ospina, and trained by Ahmed Mahmoud. Prince Miteb bin Abdullah received the cup from the Commander of the Military Apparatus in the National Guard. Friday’s races were held for the cups of Princess Saita bint Fahd Al-Damer “mother of Prince Faisal bin Khalid”, with a prize of one million riyals, and the mare “Muttadhebta”, daughter of Alam, for the sons of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, won with the trainer: Ahmed Mahmoud and the jockey: Camilo Ospina, time: 1:40:73, distance: 1600 meters.
