About the Moroccan national team – written by Badr Al-Din Al-Idrissi
The three days that I spent in the city of Tan-Tan, while attending, with a group of national and Arab media figures, the activities of the Grand National Prize of Oued Noun for Journalism and Media in its fourth edition, cannot be erased from memory, as they are like a beautiful tattoo that cannot be erased by the images that cross the eye with the passing of days. It is the most beautiful haven for thought whenever the fatigue of working in the media halls takes over, the profession that we love, no matter how hard it is on us and no matter how tired it is.
I came to Tan-Tan to participate, along with fellow professors and researchers, in a scientific and radiological symposium that witnessed the activities of the award, whose flow is as fresh as the blue waters of the ocean, my wonderful and charismatic colleague Hafez Mihdhar, organized by the Moroccan Association of Sports Journalism, on a topic of great importance, and its focus is “Moroccan sports media on the horizon of the Kingdom’s stakes.” To ensure the success of its organization of the 2030 World Cup.
Perhaps I will confess before you, as I fold those days into the beautiful record of the book of a lifetime, that as I left Tan-Tan with the caravans of creative people in the field of journalism, I was very guilty of being late in visiting this charming city, which simply embodies foreshadowing the embrace of the golden sand dunes with the roaring waves of the ocean and is very humanly pregnant. One of the lofty values of which, in our time burdened with worries, there is only an intermittent echo.
How deep was the pang of guilt and the depth of pain inside me, what I discovered, along with all the wonderfully selected media colleagues, of welcome, joy, and cheerfulness, as if the city of Tan-Tan had stopped the movement of time to live the moment of encounter with its magic pouring over the squares, and my certainty increased that this city does not shine only with its natural beauty. But it is decorated every day with the joy of its people, as they embody a luxurious display of Moroccan originality by spontaneously welcoming those arriving to it, and by covering the earth and space with scarves of happiness and joy.
The city of Tan-Tan had an echo in the hymns of my media time. I saw it without seeing it, and I breathed its fragrance without walking in its gardens, through the Lady of Splendor and Glory. She left us for the abode of permanence, and all the hearts of the media person, poet, writer, and educator Aziza Yahdih, who was nicknamed, ached from the sorrow of her departure. Through Our Lady of the Dune, and I was honored to be the first to open the windows for it, so that it could receive the rays and fragrance of the press and breathe the fragrance of expression, and through a knight riding on his horse and traveling through the cities, to announce among us a media and literary project called the Oued Noun Grand Prize for Journalism and Media, covered in its colorful colors by Amasi Tan Tan.
The day I attended Tan-Tan, the lover of poets, creators and dreamers, I saw manifestations of human beauty that I had not seen in other places, and how much my visits to Nahdet Tan-Tan School and Second Chance School, with the great star Aziz Bouderbala and my two dear colleagues, Dr. Moncef Yazghi and Moha Avrani, were more joyful for me and my colleagues than those were. Sleepy eyes that woke up with joy.
Tan Tan.. You are the subject and I am the news.
Tan-Tan.. Excuse me for a long time. I did not see you until the afternoon.
