Farewell to the Saudi Muhammad Ramadan, the dean of Arab commentators, “may God have mercy on him,” who moved to his Lord’s side the day before yesterday after suffering from illness. As he was a fan of his country’s national team, he suffered several health problems because of his love for his country’s national team.
I personally enjoyed his commentary and his beautiful, entertaining style, along with his late colleague Zahid Al-Qudsi, “may God have mercy on him,” especially with the beginning of our national team’s participation in the second Gulf tournament in Riyadh, the first foreign participation in the year 1972. I would not leave the “radio” and it would be with me wherever I went to listen to them, this generation. They will not be repeated. They are great commentators whom we loved and who entered our hearts easily and from whom we learned. They were different schools of art, taste, and morals, and qualified in knowledge and culture. They conveyed the matches with all politeness and tact, and did not deviate from the text with praise, shouting, and compliments, as we hear today, as everyone sings according to his own night.
There is a big difference between generations, and I will not forget the late man’s position at the Palm Palace in Abu Dhabi, where His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan honored a number of Gulf football stars after the end of the Gulf 19 in Muscat, and who were going through difficult circumstances as part of his generosity with the athletes, as His Highness promised us. Loving humanitarian initiatives by honoring the former stars of the Gulf tournaments who are suffering from humanitarian conditions…the initiative, as Bou Sultan described it, is a necessary duty to value the efforts of these icons and appreciate their giving throughout their journey with the Gulf tournaments, and to confirm that whoever gives to his country will not be in vain. And I remember the word The late Alti delivered a speech on behalf of the honorees in February 2009.
The approach taken by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan to honor sports figures during their work has brought about a qualitative shift in the standards of honoring in the sports sector, and its psychological impact will be deeper in the hearts and souls of those who have been honoured, as these initiatives are not strange to the children of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al. Nahyan, may God rest his soul, was a pioneer in his humanitarian initiatives, not only at the Arab level, but also at the international level. Today we bid farewell to the good man, and the sports arena is saddened and misses an authentic, professional media figure.. Farewell to the son of the neighborhood in the door of Mecca.. I swear to God, it is behind the intention.
