The Abu Dhabi Jiu-Jitsu Professionals Association, affiliated with the World Vision Sports Management Company, in the presence of Abdullah Ali Al-Sabousi, UAE Ambassador to Italy, held the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Jiu-Jitsu Tour in the Italian capital, Rome, for the first time, which took place in the Centro Olimpico hall over a period of three days.
The tournament witnessed a large turnout of European and international players to compete in this important round, as the number of participants reached more than a thousand male and female players from 60 countries, for the junior, professional and senior levels.
From the first day, the championship bouts witnessed a distinguished presence of a group of the world’s most prominent players from various clubs and academies to compete for the round’s prizes, which are of great importance as they award the winner of first place in each category 2,000 points in the annual classification approved within the Abu Dhabi Professional Jiu-Jitsu Association.
