• The common proverb says: “It is as if you were a man of Zaid Magzit.” After the clubs reduced their debts by decision of His Highness Sheikh Nasser, and transferred them to the Development Bank; These debts have accumulated again, even among those clubs whose huge investments are supposed to help them not fall into debt again!
• This suffering is experienced by club managements that move left and right in search of investments that could constitute a qualitative leap for them, or petitioning well-to-do people close to them to provide support; Similar to (Oh God, from God’s money), although
Opening up face to obtain such support is considered, in the eyes of some, to be out of fear (for his embarrassment), so they refrain from knocking on this door.
• The clubs are complaining about the reduction in the annual support provided, which has reached eighty percent of the level of support provided before the successive reduction, and we hoped that the reduction would be delayed beyond the period in which the clubs could stand on their feet financially through the investment and marketing process. Which is planned with scientific studies.
• I believe that had it not been for the initiative of His Highness Sheikh Nasser referred to, and the exceptional support of His Highness Sheikh Khaled, as well as the support provided by (Ambition Company) to many clubs; This would have closed its doors in light of the (frightening) numbers
It is spent on contracts, which in many cases require two clubs to conclude them, as the value of competition prizes is not equal to the debt!
• This reality is experienced by the clubs and is the talk of the local sports community, and they regret the financial support that the neighboring clubs receive to help them move successfully towards entering true professionalism, because it is unreasonable to hear that clubs have huge investments that revitalize their budgets with the support of (Ambition); Which took it upon itself to diversify it.
• The question is how clubs’ investments are supposed to help them not fall into debt; It begs investors to provide the installments due to it, so that it can manage its affairs, including salaries and other benefits that it accumulates monthly, and this leads to its results in competitions being affected depending on the psychological impact on the players of accumulating their dues!
• I think that in light of the increase in the number of federations, participations, and hosting events; Which undoubtedly has an impact on the support allocated to clubs. There is a need for some kind of obligation for major national companies and others, which generate huge annual benefits. To allocate a portion of these benefits to support sports, as part of its community partnership
