Chairman of the Sports Media Committee at the Bahrain Journalists Association Ahmed Karim ,announced the organizing committee for organizing the Arab Media Day headed by Ali Al-Basha, with the membership of Fawaz Al-Abdullah, director of the event, Saad Abdullah, head of the secretariat committee, Mohammed Al-Dhaen for the Public Relations Committee, Younis Mansour for the media committee, and Asma Yassin, the organizer of the organizing committee on That the committee hold its first meeting in the coming days to put the final touches on the Arab media event, which is expected to be attended by many illustrious names in the Arab media in Arab countries.
The Kingdom of Bahrain will host the Arab media event from 28 to 31 October.
Chairman of the Sports Media Committee of the Bahrain Journalists Association Ahmed Karim extended his thanks and appreciation to the President of the Bahrain Journalists Association, Mr. Issa Al-Shayji, for his great interest and keenness to organize the Arab media event in the Kingdom of Bahrain through his personal follow-up to all aspects of the event, and his keenness to provide everything related to this hosting of organizational aspects.
Karim also extended his thanks and appreciation to the members of the committee for accepting to work in the media event, describing it as a national mission, especially as it is held on the land of the Kingdom and includes many Arab faces and personalities.
Karim pointed out that this Arab media hosting comes in the context of implementing the vision of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa to make the Kingdom of Bahrain a tourist and sports destination in various events such as tournaments, meetings, and media and sports events.
He added: “We are working in the Sports Media Committee of the Journalists Association to keep pace with the progress witnessed by the Bahraini sports arena in its various games and sports, and the great attention and follow-up it receives from those in charge of Bahraini sports, and in line with the distinguished efforts made by His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative The first is for the President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee to support sports tourism and enhance the Kingdom’s position as a major destination for attracting and organizing various events and in a way that pushes efforts towards developing the sports system.”
Karim explained that the Sports Media Committee is working to put sports tourism at the forefront of its considerations when hosting such events, especially with the presence of a distinguished elite of Arab media personalities in the Kingdom.
