The Egyptian Darts Federation is preparing to hold a high-level press conference on December 2, 2025, at its headquarters to officially announce the largest international, continental, and regional gathering for darts in the Middle East and Africa. This conference comes just days before the start of the major sporting events, which will be held in Sharm El Sheikh from December 9 to 14, with the participation of 23 countries and more than 180 players, under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The conference is expected to be attended by a large number of Egyptian, Arab, and international media outlets, as well as leaders of sports federations, experts in individual sports, and sponsors. Details of the four tournaments, which will be held together for the first time in a single event, will be revealed, along with the announcement of the international protocols to be signed on the sidelines of the tournament, the daily program of events, and future development plans for the sport in Egypt and the region.
Dr. Yahya Abdelkader, President of the Egyptian, Arab and African Darts Federation, affirmed that this championship represents a new stage in the history of darts in the region, noting that Egypt has become a pivotal center for the game globally after officially obtaining the right to host the 2027 World Darts Championship. He explained that organizing the conference comes as a step to enhance communication with the media and to inform the sports public about the magnitude of the achievement that Egypt is making in this field.
